you may not believe it
but there are people
who go through life with
very little
friction of distress.
they dress well, sleep well.
they are contented with
their family
life.
they are undisturbed
and often feel
very good.
and when they die
it is an easy death, usually in their
sleep.

but such people do

the spaces and places within

in relation to the underlying arrangements and order, draped over by matter to provide a familiar appearance. to have the initial influence of a common descent. for good/bad.
and either accept/reject the lines-colors-shadows reflected and absorbed by light - ultimately processed with bias.
the option i choose is neither. instead, change.

porosity and permeability
the structure has been charred and weathered. but the physical support lends a shape that still bears some semblance to it's prior image. .: underneath we are are all under construction, minor - major. tweaks - shifts.

it is not about resisting, but rather about succumbing. that is the problem. so many directions. there is no algorithm for the literally infinite possibilities for the future. a date unmet. unforeseen. unpredicted - i hope. one so vast.
