"you should only change it if it can be improved upon.improvement - there is fault in that term: to a certain point, it is subjective. how can one say/determine what is better or worse when it comes to the aesthetics?
it looks good, so we should stick to it"
staying with what is old, what has been done - what is not novel in itself to begin with... that can be regression. unchanging, static. or constant, but if it is open to change and new designs, why not stray from what is safe and past? the point is not always to "improve," but to update, to be different.
following parallel paths, tangent paths that mirror or remain attached to the usual.
skewed lines and perpendicular ways.
maybe it was just inconceivable - the idea of an "improvement." meaning that what was seen was 'the ideal,' 'the ultimate.' that is never possible. expansion of possibilities and thoughts. so limited. how do i address someone who is on a separate level? how do i relay and explain what is not aware? not in consciousness?
there is a disconnect.
